Letter No. 02: The City Remembers

If you stay in Aurelith long enough, you’ll hear people say the city remembers.

They mean the old stones, worn smooth by generations of footsteps.

The buildings that have survived fires, wars, celebrations, and the quiet collapse of empires.

The stories whispered in markets and corridors, told and retold until truth and legend become almost indistinguishable.

But there is something else they never say out loud.

Some places simply exist.

Aurelith watches.

Every street has a history. Every shadow, a question. Every door, a story waiting for the right person to ask it.

So we write.
Because if the city remembers…

then perhaps, together, we can listen.
